Abstract

Social media has emerged as a significant platform for political communication and civic engagement among young people. Platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok enable users to access political information, express opinions, participate in public debates, and engage with political campaigns. This study examines the relationship between social media use and political participation among young people in the contemporary digital environment. Using a qualitative and descriptive research approach, the study explores how digital platforms influence political awareness, attitudes, and participation.
